Visualising Aphasia

Aphasia is a life-disabling communication disorder caused by damage to the language centres of the brain. Recognising the need to raise public awareness on aphasia, the project aims to make the condition a more accessible subject matter. The informational material is meant to reach out to the general public as well as aphasiacs. The use of watercolour splashes is meant to symbolise normal brain activity, since aphasiacs' main difficulties are language and communication and not their intellect.
