Innovation - The New Nordic Kitchen in Serbia

In June 2014, the Nordic Embassies in Serbia organised the Nordic Day to celebrate Nordic cooperation and investments in Serbia.

In conjunction with the event, a book about Nordic food was published with recipes adapted to the Serbian food market. The "New Nordic Kitchen" (termed in 2005 in the New Nordic Food manifesto) is a reaction against fast and processed foods, and encourages people to use local, organic and sustainable products in a new and modern context. The food movement has now gained international appeal around the world, not least with the driving force of the Michelin-starred Noma restaurant.

The dual-language cookbook serves as an introduction to the principles behind the concept with easy to follow recipes, proving that Nordic food can be prepared anywhere in the world.
